Do I need planning permission to put a cabin on my land?
Usually yes, and it is three separate questions: planning (may you place a structure at all), building code (how it must be built and connected), and a tourism licence (may you let it to guests). Movable does not mean exempt (Supreme Court doctrine, Dec 2024). A 48-hour viability read of your parcel comes before any contract.
What if my plans change — can I move or resell it?
Yes. The suite sits on reversible helical piles, not concrete, and ships with a Mobility & Demountability Certificate. You can relocate it to another parcel, resell it, or redeploy it — a movable asset with residual value, unlike site-built stock you write off. Relocation is subject to access and re-siting permissions.
How soon could my land be earning?
From a serviced, permitted plot, roughly 12–16 weeks from signature to first guest — the suite is guest-ready within days of the crane leaving. From a raw parcel that still needs planning and services, plan for longer; the viability read tells you which stages your site actually faces.
